I'll be playing Wednesday night at 301 Mongolia in the M2 Bldg downtown Champaign from 6-8! It's a part of "Winedown Wednesdays" with 1/2 price wine all night!

Then- on Friday night, I'll be at the Champaign Country Club for my monthly installment there-Always a treat!

And finally, I'll be at FATMAN'S WAREHOUSE in Danville, Saturday night from 9pm-?

Please come on out and have a drink or a meal, and hear some songs!

I'm playing a rare originals show this Thursday,April 19th at 7pm at Indi Go Art Gallery on University Ave in Downtown Champaign. This is a fundraiser for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank so $5.00 or 2 canned goods gets you in the door! Come on out for a rare nite of originals and gather around a good Cause!

New Venues coming in April

I'll be playing at 2 new venues in April! 301 Mongolia and Dublin ONeils in downtown Champaign in the "M2" building!

I'll be at 301 Mongolia for Happy Hour on Wednesday, April 4th, from 5-7pm!

THEN-I'll be next door from 301 and Dublin ONeils on Saturday night April 7th, at 10pm! Come on out and support live music!

TYPES OF SHOWS

THE DAVID HOWIE LIVE JUKEBOX SHOW (COVERS SHOW) I've been doing an Acoustic-Covers Show which consists of songs from the 70's up to songs released within the last year. This show is a covers show, but the running order is chosen by the audience. I pass several 3 ring binders around with song titles and artists names on "jukebox strips". The audience member simply writes their favorite songs with the letter and number on a lighted request board. Then I will play it in order of the requests. But that's not all! There are certain numbers with mystery bonus tracks (maybe one of my originals or another song by the same artist,etc.). Anyway, you get the idea. This is a lot of fun and gets the crowd involved. I can play 2-4 hour shows in this vein. The sounds of the quarter-drop, the record arm moving and the pop,crackle and hiss of a real jukebox are featured throughout the show.

SINGER/SONGWRITER; ORIGINAL SHOWS: I perform 100% original material at some shows (Aroma Cafe comes to mind). My latest record is called The Rearview Mirror Of The Soul and I have always got new songs in my back pocket too, as yet unrecorded.I can play up to 2 hour shows in this format!

KIDS MUSIC SHOWS: I perform kids music of various kinds. I've recorded a cd for The Champaign Public Library called "Baby Boogie" and it's been a hit for the toddler set. It even received a "Parents Choice Award". Playing for kids is a BLAST as you can well imagine, and I'm a bit of a kid at heart!

CATHOLIC KIDS MUSIC (K4J VBS SERIES): I'm the principal writer for the K4J(Kids For Jesus) VBS Program worldwide. I've recorded 10 cds with them since 2000,and we're excited about some new directions with my songs and involvement there.

PARTIES AND FUNDRAISERS SHOW: I've been known to play at a few neighborhood parties and fundraisers also! Having performed at "The Taste Of Champaign", "The Decatur Celebration", and variuos Park District events,I love festivals and support roles with national touring acts, as well as corporate events.

WEDDINGS: Due to popular demand, I am now available for wedding ceremonies also! This usually involves playing the happy couples' chosen songs and some light acoustic music.
