Become Golden is a rich, melody-laden record with roots in both the folk tradition and the rock/pop vein. The subject matter covers a wide spectrum of feelings. From the horn-drenched opener "Contact" , to the old timey blues of "Everybody everywhere", to the organ induced vibe of "Another Sad Song", there's truly something for everyone. Written during the last year and a half of Davids' fathers life (James Howie) it is a looking back kind of record... and a looking around and forward type of record. It's a journey....hop on board!
